Nightcap Cottage is a delightful newly-renovated two bedroom cottage located on the very edge of the sleepy village of Eureka, in the heart of Byron Bay's glorious hinterland. Named for its truly beautiful view towards the wooded hills of the Nightcap Ranges, the cottage sleeps a maximum of four in two comfortable bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other with a queen). There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and spacious combined living/dining room with TV, DVD player, CD player and collections of books, DVDs and CDs. Large glass sliding doors open onto a wide covered deck...this is where you'll be drawn to, whether for breakfast, a barbecue or simply to sit quietly with a glass of wine enjoying a magnificent sunset...and that view!!
The tiny sleepy village of Eureka sits in the heart of the glorious hinterland of Byron Bay. It enjoys a feeling of being far away from the rest of the world, yet it is only:* a 5 minute drive to Federal where you will find the well-known general store with its bottle shop (and Klub Fed cafe), perfect for grabbing last minute food essentials and supplies.
* a 10 min drive to the wonderful village of Bangalow, its pretty high street home to some wonderful cafes & restaurants and an array of interesting and eclectic shops. The colourful once-monthly market (on the 4th Sunday) is not to be missed. * a 25 min drive to the Byron Bay with all its diverse attractions & beautiful beaches
* a 30 minute drive from Lismore airport and 45 minutes drive from Coolangatta Airport
The wonderful natural & scenic attractions of the area are all close to hand. Places such as:
Minyon Falls (which you can see from the cottage),
Whian Whian State Forest, Rocky Creek Dam and
Nightcap National Park.
